Hi!
I'm Polo Miguel and I've been making music professionally for about 5 years now.
I started my journey in music when I was 7 years old. My very supportive grandfather enrolled me in all sorts of classical musical instruments, but only piano and guitar stood out to me.
When I became a teenager, since the guitar was the coolest instrument I could get my hands on at the time, I spent my weekends under the mentorship of Clementine Castro of Orange & Lemons and The Camerawalls.
At age 19, I stopped taking Architecture classes to pursue music full time. I relentlessly took on employments that embodied music - as a guitar coach, hotel guitarist, wedding guitarist/singer, and even church guitarist. These gigs helped send me back to university to graduate with a degree in financial management.
Eventually, I decided to take my passion for music to the next level, and that was when I entered the wonderful world of music production through self-studying. At that point, I bought my very own secondhand, 2011 iMac and bought a copy of Logic Pro X.
Then the rest was history.
Because of this, I've met and worked with leading figures in the Philippine music industry such as December Avenue, Wency Cornejo, Rey Cantong, Barbie Almalbis-Honasan, Juan Karlos Labajo, Paolo Sandejas, Dante Tanedo, Gianne Hinolan, Zak Yokingco, Lean Ansing of Slapshock, Silent Sanctuary, I Belong to the Zoo, and many others.
